Can You Send A Duck To Eagle School? Some Simple Truths In Leadership… Whether you are an entrepreneur, business owner, or company, as leaders we have to look for the best people we can find to fill the various positions in our business and then empower those same people to do whatever it takes to satisfy the customer.

The number one reason for a business, is to help and serve and satisfy the customers.

When hiring or recruiting, you have to ask yourself a question: “Am I hiring a Duck thinking they will become an Eagle?”

I really enjoyed your video. It's so true and you related your point perfectly in your stories. I had heard some of them before since I am also a great fan of "Simple Truths."
No, you can't change a duck into an eagle just as much as you can't train a horse to climb a tree.

Hello Coach Freddie,
I am also a fan of Mac Anderson's books and movies. You see, I am an EIT – Eagle In Training! At 71 I know that I still have a lot to learn, and I love the journey it's taking me on. You see, I've learned that I can't really plan the journey, I can plot the course, but must learn to make life's little alterations as they present themselves, usually with help from my Higher Power who is always there to guide my correction whenever I remember ask for His help. That alone gives me quite a bit of power over my destiny. That's why I consider myself an Eagle In Training, because it is like a lifelong journey that can be altered on a daily basis by the attitude that I choose for that day.

Eagles are always in training (EIT… I like that). Life is like sailing, you have to constantly alter you course to reach your destination.
