In Deepak Chopra's book, the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, the fifth law is the Law Of Intention. This law is based on the fact that energy andinformation exists everywhere in nature.
The Law of Intention: Intention triggers transformation of energy and information… intention organizes its own fulfillment. The quality all of your intention on the object of your attention will orchestrate an infinity of events to bring about the outcome intended.
This is the law of attraction at work.
